Came in Florence to relax and have fun, this hotel was incredible base for doing it. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. It boasts great, very convenient location.
-
Good location - good value - value for money was ok
the hotel is well furnished, in our room the smell was rather strong.
-
good breakfast, great location
Friendliness of breakfast staff
-
Breakfast super, a lot of choice
W-Lan reception could be better
-
Very noisy, right on a very busy street. The noise from the passage was also very loud.

I was on a city trip with my girlfriend. The room & the location were top. The breakfast was fine, just Italian ;). The staff was very friendly, and also the underground car park in the immediate vicinity is to be mentioned positively :).

Good atmosphere, helpfull staff

Excellent location near train station and great pleasant staff. Most tourist spots were within walking distance. Plenty of shopping and eateries on the nearby major streets. And a very nice Enzo De Piero restaurant located on the same street serves great food at reasonable price! Will stay here again if returning.

We like the room ok, especially the shower and the lovely towels. The art theme is unusual and attractive. The hotel does not try to be modern and we liked that too, it was homely and comfortable. Staff were friendly and we appreciated the late night whiskey!
We stayed with you about 3 years ago and did prefer the room we had before - it was quieter and much more interesting. (room 2 this time and room 8 last time)

We enjoyed the hotel for it's antique decoration, huge rooms (and bed) and nice shower. Staff was very friendly and the overall experience was very pleasant.
Only negative point was carrying the suitcases upstairs, but nothing that compromised the stay there.
-
The location was convenient, and the breakfast quite substantial for Italian standards. It is value for money if you want to be down town at high season in Florence, must be nice in summer when you can sit outside on one of the balconies. The staff was helpful and friendly whenever approached.
Small "comforts" were missing - e.g. hooks in the bathroom. During peak times at breakfast the work was a bit too much to handle for one employee only.
-
The staff was very kind and the room was clean. Nice balcony and comfortable bed.
The hotel was very nice. Our only problem was the bad smell in the bathroom. If you will be able to resolve it, it is going to be perfect.

Azzi is a great place to stay in Firenze. It is close to the station and incomfortable walking distance to everything Firenze is famous for. This hotel has a great vibe where you can feel at home.
-
The room was very clean for an Italian hotel, it was close to the main attractions of the city, but not on a busy street, so it wasn't noisy. We got a room facing the inner yard and so it was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and kind, provided us with tourist information. Good value for money.
The air conditioning didn't work properly and it was difficult to even breath at night as it was very warm (30 degrees). Our room was on the first floor, near the staircase leading to the room where breakfast was served, therefore we could hear kitchen noises starting early in the morning.

It is a long established Hotel and has a wealth of charm. There is art everywhere in the Hotel and a beautiful area to relax in, surrounded by books, art and a bar. The staff are just lovely, the breakfast delicious and served with graciousness. It is very close to the Santa Maria Novella Station, so not far to trundle with bags. It was always a delight to get home to after a long day looking at Art. It would be hard to find a nicer place to stay, really, as it was a very welcoming atmosphere. Azzi has been welcoming guests for over 30 years: I stayed in the original two decades ago and is is even nicer now.
I would have liked to have been a bit closer to some of the things I wanted to see, such as the Uffizi as I became very weary from lots and lots of walking during high summer, but I made up for this by the fact it was only three minutes dragging my bag to and from the station.
